11″ x 14″ acrylic on canvas. This is an old painting of mine – it was based on a scene from Anna and the King when his daughter died. It really dredged up a lot of emotion in me and I felt compelled to work on this. The angel incorporation was something I added in towards the end of its completion. I thought of it as people taking on the attributes of angels as they usher us through incredibly difficult times offering us compassion and comfort. This painting is sold.
